As We May Interact: Challenges and Opportunities for Next Generation Human-Information Interaction
Beat Signer is Professor of Computer Science at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and director of the Web & Information Systems Engineering (WISE) research lab. He has more than 20 years of experience in research on cross-media technologies and the use of the resource-selector-link (RSL) hypermedia metamodel in cross-media linking, fluid document formats and cross-media user interfaces. Over the years, the RSL hypermedia metamodel has been applied to various domains, including personal cross-media information management, interactive paper solutions, cross-device and Internet of Things applications as well as personalised technology-enhanced learning environments and next generation presentation solutions.
